5 Companies with a Global Mission for Good

As much as we love to shop until we drop, there is nothing that can compare to the feeling of giving back. And we love that many companies are now combining retail therapy with philanthropic efforts. So, since we are always on the hunt for products that benefit the world around us, we have compiled our current favorite companies with a global mission (see our favorites from last month too) for good.

5 Companies We Love that Give Back - Inspired by This

Gratitude Collaborative

We don’t know about you, but we love gift giving. From cute wrapping paper to thoughtful cards and meaningful surprises, we love when gifts put a smile on someone’s face and make them feel special. And these gift boxes do just that. Gratitude Collaborative’s mission is to “give gifts that give back.” So, when you are searching for the perfect gift for your BFF or even a mama to be (yup, they got you covered), you can take comfort in knowing that you are positively impacting not only one, but two people. A portion of the proceeds of every box actually goes directly to providing meals to those in need. And we think that is pretty great.

Solly Baby

Attention all moms: this has to be one of the greatest inventions ever. Keep your baby cozy and content with the Solly baby wrap. This company is all about giving moms the ability to do what they love, while still being wonderful mothers. And since the connection is so important, this baby wrap keeps your little one close to you, so you can continue to share life’s special moments together. Since its fabrics are custom made and dyed, the wrap is super comfortable and lightweight. The best part? For every wrap purchased, Solly Baby donates $1 to their partner charity, Every Mother Counts, which is dedicated to “making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother.” Looking for a baby shower gift? We love gifting these wraps to expecting mothers. They seriously make the perfect gift.

Little Market

You know when Lauren Conrad co-founds a non-profit, that it is going to be a good one. Little Market seeks to “empower women artisans to rise above poverty and support their families” and practices fair trade principles throughout its business. Ever since this company launched in 2013, we have been head over heels in love with all of its products, which happen to be handmade by artisans all around the world. Some of our favorites? We adore the Maya Traditions overnight bags (perfect for a weekend getaway), Precious Hands striped woven blankets (totally fits into the tribal trend) and Prosperity Candle birthday cake soy blend candle (that literally smells like a freshly-baked Betty Crocker cake). Not only do we love its products, but we love the meaning behind this fashion-forward brand even more.

Mitscoots Outfitters

The mission: get + give + employ. It’s as simple as that. Similar to the business strategy of Toms, Mitscoots gives an equal quality item to someone in need for every item purchase. Want to improve your sock game? Mitscoots has got you covered. The company offers countless different designs and styles for men, women, kids and even, babies. We love ordering a few pairs and adding them to gifts. They are always a big hit. We love the low-cut socks to wear under our running shoes and totally have our eyes on the American flag pair. And now that the company has expanded to shirts and accessories, there are even more ways to give back.

One Hope Wine

With the slogan, “Indulge. Do good. Wine not,” we knew we would instantly be fans of this social enterprise. We just did not know how much we would love it. The best part about One Hope Wine is that this company is just as committed to creating quality wine as the causes it supports. So, you can enjoy your wine Wednesday and give back too. To date, the company has made more than $2 million in donations, which has given the company the ability to support a multitude of impactful causes. We love to pick up one of the glitter wine bottles before a party or to celebrate a special occasion. And it doesn’t hurt that they are highly photogenic too.
