This pink & rose gold baby shower on our baby blog today features hand painted calligraphy, colorful florals, and flower crown donning guests. The stunning venue hosted the Frida Khalo inspired shower for Kristy Rice, of Momental Designs, (the artist behind the beautiful stationery you see here!) for her upcoming adoption of a baby boy! The creative theme included lots of painted decor, and pretty china place settings with calligraphed paint brushes and paint for guests to take home by each one. The pretty magenta and pink florals decorated the tables beautifully and cartons of strawberries added even more color. All of the colors and patterns match up beautifully.
Some highlights? The rose gold foil on the handmade invitations, the farm-to-table meal that makes are mouths water just staring at it (yum!!), and the unique 20th century style Japanese tea room. Oh! And all the Forget Me Not Rental vintage furniture pieces such as upholstered chairs and a bar cart turned cake stand. Watercolor floral linens matched the theme perfectly and greenery hung through the chandeliers and over the mantle added an extravagant effect. The beautiful day included tons of personal details including a unique sketch for each guest on their seating card, a wooden sign of hand-calligraphed scripture by Laura Hooper Calligraphy hung as wall decor, and custom rose gold foil baby book plates that were sent to attendees along with their invite.
