Park Style for Mom + Kids from The Blue Closet

If there ever were a more stylish bunch, we haven’t seen it! Stylish momma Cassaundra Hull, the blogger behind The Blue Closetmanages to dress her tots in the most adorable little outfits and upkeep herself in some mighty fine style as well, if we do say so. From her easy breezy busy mom looks, to the trends she is outfitting her kids in this summer (seriously too cute!), Cassaundra is showing us what to wear and where to find it.  Cassaundra picked out some of her go-to outfits for her little ones to wear for a day at the park and showed us what she would normally wear as well.  Who says mamas can’t be stylish too!?

We are loving the shorty shorts trend right now because please tell me something cuter then chubby toddler knees? Nothing.  Leo’s stripe shorts are by Zara but sold out (here is the similar fit).  Leo also swears by his Native shoes for the beach, the park and school!

For myself I love two looks. For the park a chambray top with boyfriend shorts and my leopard slides always make me feel casual and effortless. I live in hats to block the California sun and when my hair isn’t looking so fresh so wide brim hats and sunglasses are always a must for me.

I live in everyday dresses.  They are easy for bending over and scooping up the kids,  push them on the swings and sit on a picnic blanket without any worries of overexposing. Dresses by Sonnet James are perfect. They easily take me from Parent Teacher Conference to running errands, watching my oldest play baseball while the little ones play.  I like to pair dresses with sandals or comfy slip on sneaks (I love these and these too). Finding a big tote that is also light is a little tricky. Try thin leather or suede without a lot of hardware or thick straps and plenty of room to stash a book and sunscreen.

Accessories are so fun to making an outfit more interesting but i also love having one necklace that i never take off.  I switch this about every month.  This month i am loving this one by Lisa Leonard Designs.
