One Day in San Francisco

San Francisco is one of our absolute favorite cities – It has cool character, so many things to do, and is just a quick flight from LA! If you have only one day in town, these are a few of the things you must do while you’re there!

Brunch:

No day trip would be complete without an amazing brunch. Plow is one of our favorite spots – It’s a trendy farm-to-table restaurant, and everything from the food to the construction materials were sourced from local farms and vendors in the Bay Area! The menu changes often, but our favorite orders include the French toast and the eggs Benedict.

Afternoon:

Go on a hike around Lands End! It’s located in the Golden Gate National Park, and has the most amazing views of the rocky bay shoreline and Golden Gate Bridge. The trail is pretty accessible, easy, and a great way to burn off some of your brunch! Insider tip: Bring a windbreaker or light jacket – it can get windy and chilly out there!

If you managed to work up an appetite, you absolutely must stop by The Heartbaker on your way back into the city. They have a Nutella filled donut that is to die for!

While you’re in San Francisco, you have to go shopping in Union Square. We love all of the huge department stores and unique spots. Plus, you have to check the central square off your list if you haven’t been to the city before!

Dinner:

For an amazing dinner, head to the Balboa Café. They serve all of your classic favorite dishes, and their burger has been on about every “best burger” list you can imagine. You can’t go wrong here!

Night:

Finish off the night with a wine flight at Press Club. The cool underground wine bar is a hidden spot that serves hard to find wine and beer from around the world. It’s a perfect place to unwind!
