This elegant baby shower in the heart of our nation’s capitol has us head over heels for the fabulous elements in this mommy-to-be’s party! The guest of honor wasn’t big on classic “baby” things, so her love of Kate Spade became the jumping point for this shower’s bold color palette of black and white, with pops of bright green and gold. Amber Karson Events designed and coordinated the shower, and drew inspiration from Kate Spade’s gold-foiled monogrammed note cards. The sleek shower invites were even hand-pressed using Kate Spade stationery! The colors of the party look amazing tied into the gorgeous gold-trimmed china and green water goblets, and it’s no secret that we love the ranunculus and anemone centerpieces. The most darling idea for a mom who doesn’t need “baby” stuff was asking guests to bring a book to add to the new baby’s library! Such a precious day!
