It’s always fun sharing a maternity session on the baby blog! It’s one of the most exciting times of a couples life, anticipating the arrival of a little one! Monica Roy was able to photograph some of her best friends in this coastal striped maternity session and we love the way they turned out! Simple yet coordinated and full of love and joy!

My good friends Soerha and Andrew decided to have a laid back maternity session at Crab Cove in Alameda, CA, which is where they live. Soerha is a stylish friend whose always been able to put together casual separates very well, so I knew she’d be wearing something swoon worthy. The couple actually didn’t try coordinating their outfits in advance of the shoot, but ended up both choosing stripes (a match made in heaven), which meshed perfectly with the nautical themed surroundings of the park.
