Bunny Brunch Birthday Party

Watch out, this newly-two-year-old is getting into her cake at her bunny birthday party on our baby blog today .. and it’s the cutest thing ever! Seriously, the mischievous tot couldn’t be more adorable as she picks frosting from her birthday cake and blows out her sparkling candles with mom & pops and friends by her side. This “bunny brunch” is perfectly pretty just like little Olivia, planned to-a-T by her doting mom. We didn’t think she could top Olivia’s first birthday bash! With bright pink peonies (please pause to admire the incredible flowers!), naked cakes, and doughnuts what more could a little (or big) girl want? Back to the flowers – not only did they decorate the table tops, but they were also incorporated in hanging chandeliers and terrariums, oh my! Clever signage decorated chalkboards and cakes made of leaves and glittery letters and numbers. A leafy “2” may be our favorite element. And bunny ears, bunny stationery, and mini bunny statues celebrated Olivia’s favorite thing in an adorable and fresh way. But really, have you ever seen a bunny theme done so beautifully? Here’s how Olivia’s mom made her little bunny’s day:
Olivia loves bunnies, so I knew I wanted to incorporate that into her birthday party. I ordered Olivia the cutest bunny ears on Etsy and then made a set for each guest. We kept the food pretty simple – bagels, doughnuts, fruit salad, and egg souffles and then coffee and mimosas (of course!). I made the cakes, and my friend Meagan, of MV Florals, decorated them. She also did all the floral arrangements and made this party as beautiful as can be!
