How to get there:

Cathay Pacific is definitely our number one choice for airline. Splurge for the Business Class upgrade and you won’t be sorry! Personal pods with full beds and comforters. It’s a longggg flight so definitely recommended!

Where to stay:

Our favorite resort (by far!) is The Mulia Bali. Situated on one of Bali’s best beaches Nusa Dua, it’s the perfect getaway! Everything about this resort is top-notch from the 5 star restaurants to the incredible spa to the unbelievable staff, you’ll be truly spoiled! Going for your wedding or honeymoon? You will love these property perks.

Daytrip:

Ubud is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bali and we can see why! A cute little arts village houses art galleries, boutiques and quaint restaurants and is surrounded by lush green rice paddy fields. Their famous for their paddy terraces where rice grows along the side of a mountain. Such an amazing site to see!

Must See:

1. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary – This tucked away sanctuary is dripping in overgrown vines complete with rope bridges and hidden temples. You’ll feel like Indiana Jones walking through it! And there are monkeys EVERYWHERE! They’ll take bananas right out of your hand and jump and hang all over you. Such a cool experience!

2. Tirta Empul Temple – Just outside of Ubud you’ll find the Tirta Empul Temple where holy water springs. The Hindu people come from miles to pray at the temple and bathe in the holy water. Even in droughts, the water has never stopped rushing through the ancient grounds and a large part of the Balinese Hindu culture!

3. Uluwatu Temple – This temple is situated at the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. It doesn’t get more beautiful than that! Explore the caves and beaches during the day and head to the temple at sunset for a special performance featuring Balinese dancers. Definitely don’t want to miss this!
