Pink & Blue Holiday Home Tour

We love that holiday decor can take so many unique twists and turns depending on one’s celebrations and taste! And what proves that better than this pink and blue holiday home tour! Megan Martin – who’s aptly titled business Megan Martin Creative is the ultimate creative studio for your own brand (see more of her work here and here!) – is taking us room by room through her uber colorful home. She decorated, with the help her daughters, using metallics, a mix of bright and pastel hues, and cute DIY projects. When you virtually step into this home, you won’t be able to wipe the smile off your face! It radiates joy and brings holiday cheer to all who are near!

Welcome to our right and colorful Christmas Home Tour! When it comes to our home, color wins. We love mixing bright colors and patterns and this Christmas was no exception! It is the most colorful time of the year in our home and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Our home palette is a mix of navy, medium blue, green, gold, pink, white, and mustard (aka the rainbow!). So, I had a wide range of color to work with for our Christmas décor. I pulled in a collection of whimsical details from brands like Kate Spade and Sugar Paper and mixed them with our traditional blue and white pieces. Plus, we threw in a few DIY projects for our own unique look.

We have two girls under the age of 5 and they LOVE craft time. So, it is always fun to come up with a DIY project for them to be a part of in our seasonal home decorations. This year we did 3 different projects together. We painted craft cones (to look like colorful trees!) for a statement dining room table centerpiece. Then, we crafted a big chunky tassel garland in our favorite home colors for our entryway mirror, and finally created a fun and festive giant pom pom garland for our holiday bar cart. I just love looking around and seeing details that they helped create! It truly makes the season special for our family!
