1. Hocus Pocus (1993)

We know the saying goes, “save the best for last”, but how could we not mention this movie first?! When it comes to trick-or-treat, this movie certainly gives you both! This movie is filled with witchcraft and lots of laughs, and is sure to make your Halloween season an absolute joy!

2. Corpse Bride (2005)

A little animated movie never hurt any body. But don’t let it fool you, this movie is filled with drama and just a dash of romance…slightly dead romance, but romance nonetheless!

3. Beetlejuice (1988)

Dare we say…beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice! Although the last thing we need to conjure up is a “bio-exorcist”, this twisted, yet hilarious movie will keep you entertained all season long.

4. Edward Scissorhands (1990)

We swear we didn’t plan to have 3 Tim Burton films, and 2 with Winona Ryder as the leading role but could you think of better people to embody the spirit of Halloween? If you’re looking for a movie that will tug at the heart strings more than make you scream in terror, this is the perfect one for you. But make no mistake, this movie is just eerie enough to add to your October film lineup.

5. Practical Magic (1998)

A movie all about the value of sisterhood, and love! Plus is stars Sandra Bullock & Nicole Kidman…need we say anything else??

6. The Craft (1996)

Mean Girls…but make it witchy! These girls can make just about anything look cool, especially summoning spells on their enemies.

7. Coco (2017)

One of the most visually stunning films we’ve seen yet, this animated tale is so unique and has a soundtrack you’ll will most definitely be playing on repeat.

8. Silence of the Lambs (1991)

If you’re a sucker for twisted mind games and living for the thrill, look no further. We get chills up our spine just from looking at this photo.

A war between two villains who haunt your dreams? Sounds like we’re never sleeping with the lights off ever again!
