We believe that giving gives back, and we are very aware of the poverty and hunger that is a part of this world. We’re so fortunate to live where we do and not have to worry about where our next meal is coming from, so we want to give back to those less fortunate. We are starting a campaign today for the month of September in which every new like we get on FACEBOOK we will donate 1 can* to Feeding America
Here’s some facts about hunger in America and the organization:
– One in six Americans is battling hunger, which is about 51 million Americans
– Feed America feeds 37 million neighbors each year
– A $1 dollar donation provides 8 meals, so donating $25 provides 200 meals!
– Every year Feed America distributes over three billion pounds of food and grocery products
