Galentine’s Day Celebration with Tasteful Touches of Pinks

Grab some rosé and your besties because boy oh boy do we have a Galentine’s Day celebration for you! There’s only one day a year dedicated to celebrating all your best gals, so the only way to do your Galentine’s Day celebration is big. The team at Lucy Myers Events did it perfectly in a vision of all things blush, floral, macramé and feminine!

The event planner shares…

February is a tough month in Muskoka. Canadian winters mean -25 degrees and multiple feet of snow. I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to get cozy with my besties while infusing bohemian summer vibes into a party so we would all have something to cling to until spring! This inspiration created the ultimate party concept – a Boho Galentine’s PJ Brunch!

After 10 years of planning and designing weddings and events for my clients, I still feel inspired to create these special gatherings for my loved ones to create memories and celebrate our friendships. The décor focused on tasteful touches of pinks, peach, nude + warm hues while layering all. the. boho. textures. The hand-carved bar table created a focal point as guests entered my home and also kept the bubbly close by! It was styled with a vintage champagne chiller and the standout graphic design of the Lola Wines nestled in rose petal ice cubes.

Comfy couches scattered with macramé and blush pillows invited the ladies to lounge in their PJ shirts and robes. Girls’ days are a time to unwind and connect, so it was important to me that we were all comfy, so each guest was gifted a satin robe or PJ shirt. Each guest received a makeup bag with her name monogrammed in gold. These were filled with gold initial necklaces, eye masks, and monogrammed tassel key chains. The harvest table featured a macramé runner trickling with bud vases of pretty wildflower blooms all nestled with candles.

Place settings incorporated layers of interest with scalloped woven hyacinth charger mats, a pop of pink, gold flatware, gauze napkins and blush + gold stemware. Each pink plate was topped with glass coasters featuring each lady’s name. The homemade brunch menu featured traditional heart-shaped and pink elements – it is Galentine’s after all!

So if you’ll excuse us, we need to make sure our favorite silk pajamas are clean and start chilling some bubbly, because there’s no better way to spend Galentine’s Day than just like this!
