Looking for a change of pace after a busy week? The weekend provides the perfect opportunity to gather your girlfriends and host a movie night! We’re all for a good G.N.O. but sometimes nothing beats an old-fashioned night-in with a popcorn, a movie… and cocktails, of course! We’ve got just the thing to encourage you to stay in and slip into something darker this weekend: Fifty Shades Darker Unrated is now available on iTunes, and on Blu-ray and DVD May 9!

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson star in the second tantalizing installment of the global phenomenon sparked by E.L. James’ best-selling book trilogy returns with the second chapter of the darkly alluring tale that captivated the world. Fans can now stay in and have the ultimate Girls Night In with Fifty Shades Darker Unrated Edition, and this time, there are no rules and no secrets.

We created this dark chocolate martini recipe, which we like to call The Masked Stranger in honor of the film’s release. Because who doesn’t love chocolate or feel classy sipping a martini?! But just in case someone doesn’t (?!) we also served up red wine in custom, Fifty Shades Darker stemless glasses.

The Masked Stranger: A Dark Chocolate Martini

Ingredients, serves 4-6

1 Cup Chocolate Liqueur
3/4 Cup Half & Half
1/4 Cup Vodka
Hard Shell Chocolate Syrup, we used MagicShell
Ice

Instructions

1. Dip the rim of the martini glasses in the hard shell chocolate coating. We poured a little onto a plate and rotated the glass until the rim was coated.

2. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and mix. Half the recipe for each shaker and repeat.

3. Pour and serve!

Now that the drinks are taken care of, it’s time to bring out the snacks! We went with popcorn, and yes, more dark chocolate. Some of our other favorite GNI (Girls Night In) snacks include meats & cheese boards, bruschetta, and hummus with veggies or pita crackers. Finally, don’t forget the movie! Bring home Fifty Shades Darker Unrated with deleted and extended scenes and an all-new sneak peek of Fifty Shades Freed. Purchase your copy today on iTunes and get it on Blu-ray & DVD May 9.
