I absolutely LOVE Palm Springs! I love how modern the architecture is and the lush palm trees within the desert landscape make for incredible scenery! Even in the middle of winter, it’s an ideal location to have an outdoor ceremony with it’s sunny blue skies and warm temperatures. It’s home to a bunch of incredible venues including the ACE Hotel , The Viceroy, and Miramonte Resort that have hosted some of my favorite weddings over the years. Palm Springs might seem like one giant, hot, desert but the city is a perfect place to get married! Take a look below to see why!

Inspired by Wedding Ruffles

I LOVE ruffles! They add a touch of fun to anything that they’re attached to – dresses, flowers, invitations, cake. They’re the perfect accent for a simple bride that’s looking for a little something extra, or for the girly bride who enjoys a good frill!  I love that some flowers, like peonies, garden tulips and ranunculus, are naturally ruffled themselves! There’s nothing better than a hearty and textured bouquet! I know guys typically aren’t the biggest fans of ruffles (at least my husband isn’t!), but when done subtly and minimally ruffles just add a little extra bit of interest – a ruffled cake or a ruffled invite adds some fun detail!
