Pink Ombre Baby Shower

This gold and pink ombre baby shower on our baby blog is everything a momma-to-be could want and more! Showered with sweets, pink gifts, and a whole lot of prettiness, Mom was all smiles and pregnant bliss! Carly Bennett designed the perfect pink party and tells us how to here!

This soon-to-be mother of a baby girl wanted a laid back boho chic shower set amongst friends and family.
To set the scene we chose ombré pink, gold, natural elements, and wood as our color palette. We brought a bit of water to the party with gentle watercolor accents that can be seen in the beautiful invites and brought to life in the colored tassels, protea flowers, and custom hand-dipped napkins.

Pops of gold were added to the mix with repurposed wine bottles sprayed in gold, dipped feathers, gold bamboo-styled chairs and flatware. A light lunch of fruit, orzo salad, mixed greens and a charcuterie platter paired with an amazing mimosa bar, blush coupes and glass straws were the perfect serving for a hot afternoon in California.
The tables were set with loose leaves and wildflowers, clear votive candles, gold bottles filled with proteas and gold dipped feathers. A custom mobile with natural rope, leather arrows and feathers lightly hung above a bamboo table, and a wooden sign with hand-painted calligraphy ‘Arrow’ served as favorite focal points by guests and a great new addition to the baby’s nursery.

After a light lunch, guests were served a delicious naked cake adorned with flowers, macarons, and custom iced Arrow cookies. A peacock chair with a macramé backdrop and a seating area filled with cozy Moroccan blankets propped on a stand of old shipping pallets served as a great way to enjoy the gift giving.
