This tropical rehearsal dinner celebrates one of our favorite girls, the gorgeous Laura Hooper of Laura Hooper Calligraphy. The festivities included a sunset sail the previous night and a traditional Hawaiian luau dinner and show, which sounds like a blast! The evening’s color palette of pink, aqua and gold, plus centerpieces of turquoise jars and white polished shells, is perfection! We love how each detail of the dinner fits the relaxed location, from the mats and pillows for guests to lounge on to the vibrant flamingo flowers. Although the rain took the dinner inside the private estate where the event was held, the fun wasn’t dampened by any means. Here’s what Laura had to say about the special night:

Although the rain was literally POURING down from the roof, all our guests had a fantastic time. We were so thankful we had the house to continue the festivities out of the rain. Desserts were passed around on wooden trays, and as the evening progressed, the rain stopped, and the fire dancer was able to go out on the grass and do his fire hurling routine. Although the thought of rain was very upsetting at first, in the end it turned into a magical night.
