Today we have a special treat from across the pond!  Kelly Oshiro, of Santa Barbara Chic, and her husband recently traveled to London for her sister’s wedding and while there decided to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in Granchester, Cambridgeshire!  Kelly and Sam never had a proper engagement session so they hired Beaux Arts Photographie who captured these amazing images of the two in honor of their anniversary.  I love all the different shades of green throughout this shoot, it really is the epitome of the English countryside!  Her dress is amazing and I want that adorable floppy hat!  What a great idea to take advantage of being in a foreign country with some different locations to work with!

Be Prepared to Be Inspired…

Just now the lilac is in bloom
All before my little room ….
And things are done you’d not believe
    At Madingleyon Christmas Eve …
And stands the clock at ten to three
And is there honey still for tea?

The only lines I can remember from Rupert Brooke’s poem, The Old Vicarage, Granchester – written during the First World War.
Granchester always takes me back to my school days when we had to learn this poem but these images bring it to life! They’re beautiful!

What a gorgeous shoot! I’ve actually been to that location before and went “punting” along the river. So peaceful and romantic. Kelly and Beaux Arts – you captured the beauty of Cambridge perfectly! Makes we want to go back!
