In the Be Inspired Wedding PR office, Mumford and Sons can be heard playing pretty much everyday! We all even went to see them in concert when they were playing on their Railroad Revival tour, so needless to say we’re big fans! They are amazing! One of their songs, “Awake My Soul” (if you haven’t heard it, you need to!) has a lyric that catches me every time: “Where you invest your love, you invest your life.”
A big part of having a successful life, personally and professionally, is having your priorities in order. Love, in all it’s shapes and forms, makes up a big part of who we are and what we do everyday. We love our family and friends, our morning cup of coffee, and hopefully we love our jobs!
The things we love and are passionate about are the things we’re going to put the most energy into, so if a dream of yours is to own a successful business it needs to be doing something you LOVE. Whether it be a spouse, dog, wedding business, or friends, if you really love what you are involved with you will never feel like you are “working” a day in your life!
Most importantly, something I touched on in an earlier post, is taking time to love yourself! It is something we can all easily look over and push to the side as the piles grow higher and our schedules fill up. I cannot stress enough how important it is to take the time to rest and rejuvenate your soul in order to be the best person you can be! Quiet moments of nothingness and reflection are vital chances to focus on what it is you really want to get out of your life as a whole and more specifically your job.
And as a bonus, we heard this song on Green Wedding Shoes but we thought it would be perfect to share with our readers… one of our favorites for a wedding… She Said Yes!
