“We had an unconventional format that we were nervous about…we had friends and family sitting in different nooks and crannies because we couldn’t fit everyone into Marinus but we wanted to avoid having everyone in a banquet hall. To our surprise, everything worked out really well. It felt wonderful and exciting and unique…just like we hoped. There was a moment when we peaked out onto the terrace and saw the glowing lights and our friends’ smiling faces; we were so thrilled that things worked out the way we had hoped. ”
