With the holiday season of 2010 a thing of the past, we now look to the start of 2011! And what better way to do that then with some beautiful New Years inspiration! Isari Flower Studio sent us this gorgeous shoot they designed and we just love love love it! Here’s what Tam and her team shared with us…

What do the movies Ocean’s Eleven, Casino, and Diamonds Are Forever have in common?  They are movies all shot in the ritzy, glitzy, high-rolling town of Las Vegas.  We were inspired by Las Vegas and a Dolce & Gabbana ad with a Tinseltown, Glitz and Glamour setting.  We designed this concept for the couple who love to entertain for New Year’s or the bride and groom whom love elegance and are not afraid of extravagance. This doesn’t mean that it has a sizable price tag, however.  Our focus was to achieve this look by adding elements rarely seen, yet being conscious of our budget at the same time.

We started with some luxury event furnishings that go beyond the stand rental items. This would paint our picture.  We chose mirrored tables, tufted gold lame and white leather Louis X style chairs.  We rented gold metal lamps for amber lighting and to set a Vegas hotel lounge feel.  Our table setting set an important tone, but couldn’t extract from the furniture.  We decided to go with simple crystal dishes and stemware with gold flatware. Tam created beautiful elegant white flowers with the same frame of mind–let’s keep it crisp, and clean and let the sparkle do the talking.

This glitzy styled wedding or New Year’s event isn’t for the faint of heart.  It is for the party go-er or bride and groom whom love the element of surprise and playful opulent glitz & glamour.
