Inspired by This Elegant Garden Themed Dinner Party with Homemade Details

Created by Desiree Spinner Events, this elegant garden themed dinner party was designed so that every decor item carried the idea of throwing  a simple but elegant backyard get together. I love all the little details, such as the wrapped peach menus, strawberry glasses, striped straws and floral patterned book shelves!  The bright color palette is the perfect way to stretch out these last few days of summer, when the air is cooling and everything is starting to get quiet.  The party featured a book exchange, where guests were encouraged to bring their favorite gardening books to swap with other party goers, such a great idea!

Refreshing drinks for guests all on one table! Love the banner across the table and striped straws!

Add fresh fruits inside the drink dispenser to let your guests know which flavor each drink is! Such a great idea!

We love the strawberry topped mason jars! And how adorable are the ribbons around the mason jars?!

Buckets as flower vases! Love it! And yellow hunters of course!

Treat your guests to a variety of desserts like cupcakes, popcorn, and cake pops! How fun!

Display cute desserts on a tiered stand perfect for any occasion!

Serve guests popcorn in a cupcake liner! Yummy!

Such a sweet treat–delicious peaches wrapped in pretty paper!

Love the mix of florals–hydrangeas and roses!

  1. LOVED the drink containers with fruit in them! We are doing that with lemons & water and lemons & lemonade for my wedding reception!

  2. That child reaching for that peach is the cutest thing that I have EVER seen. You did a lovely job on this event – it is filled with charm and joy wherever you look. Bravo – what lovely inspiration for us all. Thanks for sharing

  3. I like this website very much, Its a real nice berth to read and receive info. “Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier.” by Albert Schweitzer.

  4. Hey I would really like to know where I can get the ‘Jar Kegs’ from, where did you find them?

  5. Right now it looks like Movable Type is the top blogging
platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is
that what you are using on your blog?

  6. Greate pieces. Keep writing such kind of info on your site.
    Im really impressed by it.
Hello there, You have performed a fantastic job. I’ll certainly digg it and personally recommend to my friends.
I’m confident they will be benefited from this site.

  7. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured
I’d post to let you know. The style and design look great though!
Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Thanks

  8. I do not leave a bunch of remarks, but i did a few searching and wound up here Inspired by This Elegant Garden Themed Dinner Party with Homemade Details | Inspired by This Blog.
And I do have a couple of questions for you if you
do not mind. Is it just me or does it give the impression like some of
the responses appear as if they are written by brain dead people?

😛 And, if you are writing on additional social sites, I would
like to follow everything fresh you have to post.
Could you make a list of all of all your
public sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter
    feed?
