Leila, thank you so much for the post about our wedding! I’m so happy that it can serve as an inspiration to others. The DIY aspect of the wedding left us with so many charming stories and really fond memories. Plus, it was so special to see all of our friends and family come together for us.

And, thank you to Ashley and Sam Brockinton! Ashley and Sam were so down-to-earth, and so wonderfully energetic and creative that they fit perfectly into the day. They made us feel so comfortable. They were absolutely fantastic!

Since the wedding, Chris and I have found ourselves missing Florida. So, about two weeks ago, we packed up, left New York City, and moved to Miami!

Our wedding really did mark a new chapter in our lives, thank you all for sharing in it!

Thank you Leila and everyone that left comments! Chris and Tara were sooooo amazing. They met at art school in New York and a lot of their bridal party were artists too. The energy was electric that day (not electric like the electric slide- I’ve had way too much of that song!) and everyone was so easy to work with and photograph.

I loved the Sam and Ashley vid – so creative and fun.

Love love the DIY wedding – can I have one??? private estate on the beach? I kind of have one of those…. super low key but still had a very special vibe.
